Building Demolition Continues

Total Groundwater Processed

Through mid-June, 2019, approximately 1.35 million gallons of groundwater have been processed through the Permanent Groundwater Treatment System (Final Treatment System), which has been operational since April 2, 2019.

Previously, approximately 17 million gallons of groundwater were processed through the Temporary Groundwater Treatment System (TGTS) to maintain hydraulic capture of the plume. The TGTS operated from May 23, 2017 until the Final Treatment System was operational.

Building demolition continues onsite with Building D demo nearly complete. The crew will be approaching Building C demo this week and the liner/cover crew will be mobilizing next week. April progress can be viewed on this slideshow.
