Meteorological Tower erected, Air Monitoring Stations complete

Total Groundwater Processed

Through mid-June, 2019, approximately 1.35 million gallons of groundwater have been processed through the Permanent Groundwater Treatment System (Final Treatment System), which has been operational since April 2, 2019.

Previously, approximately 17 million gallons of groundwater were processed through the Temporary Groundwater Treatment System (TGTS) to maintain hydraulic capture of the plume. The TGTS operated from May 23, 2017 until the Final Treatment System was operational.

Meteorological Tower erected, Air Monitoring Stations complete

The Meterological Tower has been installed in the northeast parking lot, just north of the Cooling Water Pond. All four of the Air Monitoring Stations have been installed and are operational. Air Monitoring will proceed pursuant to the Air Monitoring Plan approved by EPA on 29 JUL 2014.
